The CDC’s Southeastern Regional Center of Excellence in Vector Borne Diseases is awarding several training fellowships to attend the 2020 FMCA Dodd Short Courses, which will be held February 3-7, 2020 at the Hilton UF Conference Center in Gainesville, FL.
This fellowship is intended for individuals who are interested in a long term career with mosquito control, and who are either relatively new to the field (1 year minimum) or who are promising leaders in the effort already. The fellowship will provide funding to expenses related to the 2020 FMCA Dodd Short Courses (tuition, travel, registration, etc.), up to $1,000 per applicant.
The fully completed application and required letter of recommendation are due by Friday, November 1, 2019. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Applicants are encouraged to provide as much detail as possible to make their applications competitive.
